She graduated from the University of Michigan, Dearborn, with high honors, and is also a member of the honor society for business majors, Beta Gamma Sigma. She is currently a member of the Michigan Association of CPA's and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. While work and family occupy a large amount of her days, she still finds time to volunteer as president of the Canton Rotary Club.
